POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Foot Messenger is responsible for providing timely service by responding to Support requests in order to meet the needs of the Company’s clients. The Foot Messenger is required to transport materials on a routine and priority basis as needed.
Hourly Pay Rate: $16.50
Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Plan routes that will allow for the fastest travel time
- Transports sensitive and confidential materials via foot within a specified route
- Keeps an accurate log regarding transport of materials
- Update pickups and deliveries by using the dispatch application
- Ensures proper packing, labeling, and transport of items to and from laboratories
- Maintains contact with Dispatcher
- Understands and complies with OSHA, HIPPA and Company policies and procedures regarding transport of materials
- Follows safety guidelines with regards to transport of materials
- Maintains confidentiality of materials being transported
- Other duties as assigned
